The Occasional Drop

I sat next to a lady at Sunday school not too long ago who couldn't be much older than I, and she smelled like urine. I have mixed emotions about this, because I have found that my ability to control that one drop of pee that escapes during a laugh, sneeze, or cough is non existent. (Incontinence-item number 14 on, the List) My daughters hate when I joke about needing Poise pads, but I'm not kidding. I practice my Kegels regularly, and can still pinch off a steady flow while I'm peeing, but it's that one drop that falls out that's getting on my nerves. I've recently been suffering from the worst bronchitis I've had in twenty plus years. The coughing fits were violent.

Forget trying not to lose a drop of pee...I was coughing up the contents of my stomach. It was horrible. At one point I could swear to you I cracked a rib, or burst my spleen it was so bad. Lots of drops were lost. Thoughts made their way back to the lady at church. I may be in menopause, but I'm too young to smell like I wear a diaper.

I welcome any advice on how to keep the occasional drop from escaping........
